Consumer Council for Water Wales (“CCWater”) CCWater is an independent voice ensuring that the interests of customers and potential customers are protected, not only in respect of charges, but also in respect of other matters affecting quality of service. CCWater has new statutory duties to represent customers with disabilities and chronic illnesses, on low incomes, in rural areas and older persons. Customer research is also an important part of their duty to find out the views of consumers. CCWater will investigate complaints on your behalf if you are dissatisfied with the way in which your complaint has been handled in the first instance. CCWater can recommend any steps they think should be taken to put the matter right. If we refuse to accept these recommendations CCWater can refer the complaint to the Office of Water Services, who will intervene if they think that your complaint has not been dealt with properly by the Company and CCWater. They will not intervene if you are merely unhappy with the outcome of your complaint. Address:
